Ten Jobs

Which of the following is the false job that I never had?

1. cleaned animal cages in a medical research laboratory

2. mail room clerk

3. dog (and cat) catcher (drove a van, too)
for the Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago

4. suburban Chicago taxicab driver

5. audio-visual technician for a corporation

6. copyright and permissions editor/manager
at publishing companies

7. seller of X-rated videos over the phone

8. seller of children's books over the phone

9. waiter in an expensive restaurant

10. full-time freelance photographer

Answer:

The false job is number 9. I was never a waiter
in an expensive restaurant.
However, I was a busboy, dishwasher
and snack bar attendant cooking
and selling hamburgers at a cheap
restaurant in a Greyhound Bus Station,
my every first job ever at 16 years old,
which I wrote about ("First Job")
in another journal. Every other job is true.
I also wrote about selling X rated videos,
called "X-Video" in another journal.
