Ocean Beach III: Graffiti, Kites and Lovers
Without people to see it and engage in activities on it, Ocean Beach in San Francisco would be a residence for nature only. But there's seems to be plenty of room for us, too. I am one of those who it attracts like a magnet.
Despite its somewhat changeable weather and its treacherous waters with currents that don't allow casual swimming, the beach seems to invite strolls, play and contemplation. Honestly, even though I've never done it, it's also obviously a fantastic place to smoke a joint, have a glass of wine (indoors at the Beach Chalet across the street or outdoors on the seawall), and watch the afterglow of the sunset.
